Got the apartment I wanted, and will be setting up this week, to move into it. Found a helluva deal on 20" pots at Home Depot (under $9 each, with tax), and ordered 4 of them. Amazon has 2 cubic foot bags of Miracle-Gro potting mix for just a bit over $27, for 2 bags, so I double ordered that (got to love the fact they THEY will carry them to my door, for me! LOL). Nice patio out back, overlooking the lake, so I figure I'll try some tomatoes and peppers, along with some herbs interplanted (and marigolds, of course!) in the pots. I'm excited!!

Congratulations on your apartment! I hope your move is going smoothly. Thanks for sharing these links. I really like the wine barrel planters. I tried planting some herb seeds on Good Friday, but so far only my sweetpea flowers and borage are doing well. I hope the rest will catch up soon. I have a really good pepper garden going.
